Do you need a bass knob with epicenter?
I have a volume control knob for my bass amp, do I need the Epicenter remote knob? Yes. On the surface, it seems like a volume knob, since when you turn the knob up, the volume increases, but it is NOT a volume knob. If you do not have the Epicenter knob connected, the Epicenter effect is off.
Does bass knob change gain?
The knob on the subwoofer is controlling the gain on the signal going into the amp. Turning the Bass knob down only changes the relationship of the bass frequencies with those of the treble frequencies. It does not remove them completely in most instances. There are some exceptions.
Are bass blockers necessary?
Overview: Bass Blockers stop speaker distortion caused by excessive bass relative to a speaker’s bass output capability. They are especially useful with small diameter speakers and tweeters. Bass Blockers are typically installed right before the positive speaker input terminal, in-line with the positive speaker lead.
