Identity, Self, and Duplicity. Identity serves as the most important factor that many literally live and die by in Among the Impostors. Nearly every major character in the book has at least two identities that often work against one another, highlighting the duplicity within the society.
What happened in Chapter 1 in among the imposters?
In Chapter 1, Luke begins life at Hendricks School for Boys in the middle of the school year under his new identity as Lee Grant. On his first day, he is overwhelmed by unfamiliar surroundings, the large size of the school building, and the enormous number of students.
How does among the imposters end?
