Can I use epicenter without knob?
If you do not have the Epicenter knob connected, the Epicenter effect is off. Effectively putting the Epicenter in to bypass mode. The Epicenter remote knob controls the amount of Epicenter effect that is added to the existing signal. The more you turn it up, the more bass frequencies are added to your audio signal.
How do you set an audio control epicenter?
The two knobs are labeled “Wide” and “Sweep”. The “Sweep” knob allows you to pick the center frequency that you want The Epicenter bass restoration circuit to “maximize”. The “Wide” knob adjusts how wide a frequency range The Epicenter will effect. The effective range of the sweep control is 27Hz – 63Hz.
What goes first epicenter or EQ?
We always recommend you put the Epicenter® BEFORE an EQ or crossover. Since the Epicenter is adding frequencies to your signal, you would want to put it before any EQ or crossover in order to be able to adjust those frequencies.
