What does media connection mean in a car?
A USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection allows you to plug your phone or other media device to your car’s infotainment system. It can be used for a variety of reasons, from listening to music, transferring media on to a hard disk drive (if fitted), or simply charging your mobile device.
Why is my phone not connecting to my car through USB?
If the device isn’t recognized, remove the USB device and then re-insert it. Make sure that your device is set to the required mode before connecting it to the car stereo. Some USB devices need to be in a specific mode (such as a Mass Storage Class or Player mode, etc.) before you can use the USB device for playback.
